Firstly, travel-time to Portsmouth Uni is just seven minutes. Max. The big green of Victoria Park is just over the road and a shopping centre and supermarket two minutes’ walk away. With the essentials taken care of, how you spend the rest of your time is down to you. The city centre gives you plenty of choice. Or hit a nearby beach when the weather hots up. For even broader horizons, the main train station is right next door.
