How to Prepare for Life After University 💡
Poland
Krakow is one of Europe's most popular student cities — and it's easy to see why. The Jagiellonian University has been here since 1364, AGH is a top technical university focused on science and engineering, and the international community is large and welcoming. There's more to it than studying, too: the Old Town centres on one of Europe's largest medieval squares, parks and cafés are close by, and it's all easy to explore on foot.

I’ve been living here for a year and a half and really enjoy it. The underground parking is very convenient since I have a car, and having a gym in the building is a big plus. The location is fantastic — close to the city center, next to a park, and with a grocery store and pizzeria right in the building. The building also has a cinema room, a billiards table, table tennis, and gaming consoles, which is amazing, although it’s a pity I don’t have enough free time to enjoy them more often.

What an amazing place for students! The location (several tram stops to city center), the amenities (gym, study&work rooms), common kitchen (where you always can meet and connect to others), cinema, yoga rooms (!!!), private room (where I felt like home - nice interior, comfortable furniture, great layout), the staff and ambassadors, which do a great job to connect all community everyday and offer events where everyone is taking cared of - all this under one SHED Living Krakow roof. Definitely recommend to everyone who arrives to this beautiful city for studies <3

This place has everything we could dream of: strategic position (just 30 min walk from city center, 5-10 min from bus stop Cichy Kącik, 5 min walk from Park Jordana, literally in front of Błonia and Juvenia Sport facilities); services within (Żabka literally inside the building, so groceries and house products at hand; underground and external parking; easy laundry and cleaning procedures; gym with all sorts of equipment; playing room, yoga room, cinema room, conference room and silent study sector; giant kitchen and party room); and above all the staff ready to help you with everything (from technical malfunctioning, even though it is very rare, to any questions you might have). Even my parents spend their nights here when they visit me as tourists because the quality/price ratio has no competition.

I came to SHED Living Krakow to help my daughter settle in as an international student, and I left with a very good impression. The area is really nice, with plenty of green surroundings, while still being close to the university and everything a student might need on a daily basis. The residence itself is well kept and clearly managed with attention to detail. Everything felt in order and suitable for student accommodation. What stood out to me most was the way the team handled the move-in. They were welcoming, easy to communicate with and made the whole process smooth, which is something you really value as a parent. From what I saw during my visit, I would confidently recommend it to other students and their families.
