Win Your Rent Competition 26/27 – Yugo UK and Ireland Terms & Conditions

Promoter: Yugo, acting for and behalf of the Landlord (“Promoter”)

Landlord: Yugo Students UK, 2nd Floor Castlemead, Lower Castle Street, Bristol, England, BS1 3AG, the property owner responsible for funding and providing the Prize.

1. Eligibility

1. The promotion is open to new tenants who:
   1. Are aged 18 or over at the date of entry;
      1. Are enrolled (or have a confirmed place) as a student for 2026/27 academic year; and
      2. Become residents of a Yugo UK and Ireland branded property (See Appendix 1 for details) under a valid tenancy (“Eligible Entrant”)
   2. Employees, contractors, agents of the promoter (and their immediate families/household members) are not eligible.
   3. One entry per person and per booking. Duplicate entries or entries made via agents or third parties will be disqualified.

Promotional Period

1. The promotion runs from 16/03/2026, 00:01 to 30/06/2026, 23:59 (“Promotional Period”)

   1. Entries received outside the Promotional Period will not be valid.

      How to Enter

2. To enter, an Eligible Entrant must book a room at a Yugo UK and Ireland branded property (See appendix 1 for details for 2026/27 directly via Yugo.com during the Promotional Period and complete all steps of booking as required by the site.
   1. Bookings made via University partners, third-party platforms or agents do not qualify.
   2. If a booking is cancelled (including within any cooling-off period) or not in good standing at the time of the draw, the related entry will be void.

The Prize

1. One winner will receive “Win Your Rent Paid for the Year”, which consists of the Promoter crediting the winner’s 2026/27 annual rent up to a maximum total value of £30,000 (or the equivalent amount in Euro) (the “Prize”)
   1. If the winner’s total rent for 2026/27 exceeds the cap in clause 4.1, the winner must pay the

balance in accordance with the tenancy agreement.

1. The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative is available.
   1. The Prize is funded and provided by the Landlord and will be applied as a credit to the

winner’s rent account after:

1. the winner has moved in on the tenancy start date; and
   1. the Promoter has verified proof of identity and residency. The credit will be allocated against rent instalments per the tenancy schedule.

   2. If the tenancy is terminated early or the winner breaches their tenancy, any unused portion of the Prize will be forfeited.

      Winner Selection

2. All valid entries will be entered into a random draw conducted by the Promoter (or an independent third party) on 02/07/2026
   1. The draw will follow a documented procedure designed to ensure fairness and impartiality.

3. Notification and Claiming the Prize

   1. The winner will be notified via email using the contact details provided in the booking within 7 working days of the draw.
   2. The winner must respond and accept the Prize within 7 days of notification. Failure to respond in time, or if the notification is undeliverable after 3 attempts, will result in forfeit and the Promoter may award the Prize to a reserve winner drawn at the same time.
   3. The Promoter may request proof of eligibility and compliance with these Terms. If required proof is not provided within 7 days, the entry will be disqualified.

   Unclaimed or Disqualified Prizes

1. If a Prize is unclaimed, declined, or the winner is disqualified, the Promoter may award the Prize to a reserve winner, or if reasonable attempts are unsuccessful, the Prize will be void after 7 days from the original award date.
   1. In the event that the winner cancels their 2026/27 booking, the Prize shall be void.

Publicity

1. The Promoter may request the winner’s name and university for publication and may seek

consent to reasonable publicity (e.g., photos, testimonials).

1. Participation in publicity is voluntary and will be managed in line with the Promoter’s privacy

notice.

Data Protection

1. The Promoter is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with the promotion. Personal data will be processed to administer the promotion, verify eligibility, contact the winner, and fulfil the Prize, in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Notice: yugo.com/en- gb/policy.
   1. Marketing: Entry does not require consent to marketing. Separate, optional marketing opt-in will be offered. You may withdraw consent at any time via email.
   2. Personal data will be retained only for as long as necessary for administration and legal compliance, then securely deleted/anonymised.

Fairness and Exclusions

1. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or withhold or withdraw the Prize if:
   1. an entrant’s conduct is fraudulent, dishonest, or otherwise contrary to the spirit of the

promotion; or

1. the entry does not comply with these Terms.

   1. Entries generated by script, macro, automated means, or using multiple identities or accounts are prohibited and will be disqualified.

   Changes to the Promotion

1. The Promoter may suspend, vary, or cancel the promotion where necessary due to events outside its reasonable control (e.g., law changes, public health directives, force majeure) or to address actual or suspected fraud or technical issues.
   1. If any change materially affects entrants, the Promoter will take reasonable steps to notify entrants and ensure the change is no less favourable than reasonably required.

Liability

1. The Promoter is not responsible for:
   1. entries lost, delayed, misdirected, or corrupted due to network, system, hardware, or software failure; or
   2. any loss or damage suffered by entrants that is not foreseeable or that is caused by a third party.
2. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

3. Your statutory rights are not affected.

   Complaints & Dispute Resolution

   1. Queries or complaints about the promotion should be emailed to the direct property email address, which can be found at Yugo.com or [email protected]
   2. If we cannot resolve a complaint, you may be entitled to refer the matter to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme. Details will be provided upon request.

   General

   1. The winner may be required to complete reasonable verification and publicity consent documents.
   2. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in force.
   3. These Terms are the entire agreement relating to the promotion and prevail over any other communications.

   Governing Law

   1. These Terms and the promotion are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
