Yugo Maria Oliveras
"Highly recommended. The rooms are very comfortable, the bathroom is fantastic with a super comfortable shower, and the desk is perfect for my laptop and an extra screen with high-speed internet. It's located opposite the Bellvitge University Hospital and the UB campus, and the Metro Line 1 is just a few minutes away, connecting you to the entire metropolitan area."

The UB's historic main building sits at Plaça Universitat in the heart of Barcelona, with other major campuses like the Diagonal Campus in Les Corts and the Bellvitge Campus in Bellvitge, alongside smaller facilities spread throughout the city in Sants, Esquerra de l'Eixample and Montbau.
UB students typically have four options for types of accommodation: private student residences (like Yugo) built specifically for students, shared apartments rented from private landlords, halls of residence managed by the UB and homestays with local families.
It depends which campus you're based at. For the Diagonal Campus, the Zona Universitària and wider Les Corts district are ideal. Near Plaça Universitat, most parts of the Ciutat Vella, Sants-Montjuïc and Sant Martí are well connected by metro. For the Bellvitge Campus, the neighbourhood of Bellvitge itself is the obvious choice.
Costs vary considerably depending on location, amenities and catering plan. Shared apartments cost around €500–€1,000 a month, with bills and meals usually costing extra. The UB's halls of residence typically range from €1,000–€1,500, while private student residences generally cost €1,000–€1,750+ but come complete with premium facilities and bills included.
If you're starting class in September, it's a smart move to book April–June, as demand spikes in the weeks leading up to the start of semester. The UB's halls of residence generally require you to apply months ahead, shared apartments are best secured two to three months out, while private residences offer greater flexibility and short-term options.
