Yugo Strengthens Its Leadership Team With The Appointment Of Robin Moorcroft As Senior Vice President, Commercial 

September 25, 2024 – London / New York – Yugo, the first global student housing brand and operator, is pleased to announce the appointment of Robin Moorcroft as Senior Vice President, Commercial. Robin will be leading client and commercial activities to deliver growth and embed long-term performance across the business.  

His role also encompasses the recently acquired CRM Students, where his established industry relationships and in-depth understanding of capital flows in student housing will support the businesses’ overarching strategy to scale globally.

Robin’s knowledge and operational expertise is further complemented by his previous leadership position at Global Student Accommodation (“GSA”), where he spent nine years, most recently in the capacity as Transactions Director. This bilateral move highlights the capability and depth of leadership across The Dot Group and its businesses.  

Robin’s international experience, particularly across Europe, the US and APAC region, will be valuable when sourcing new business opportunities, accessing new markets and developing commercial strategies. Robin has been key in the international expansion of GSA, particularly in the US and Australia, and will continue to influence operational strategies as GSA’s operational partner at Yugo.

Robin holds a degree from the University of St Andrews and is a Chartered Management Accountant. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and sits on the National Multifamily Housing Council in the US.
