Denver, CO, June 28, 2022 – Yugo, the first global student housing operator and brand, announces the appointment of Joe Goodwin as Senior Vice President of Operations, building on the strength of Yugo’s US leadership team.

Joe will oversee Yugo’s US operations, driving operational performance and revenues, while taking an active role in US transaction activity and business development. He will also work closely with key partners to support student initiatives on sustainability and personal growth, through Yugo’s three core pillars: YugoEco – education; YuPro - personal development; and YuGrow, delivering student needs and expectations.

Joe has over 18 years of experience in the student, multi-family, and affordable housing sectors, primarily in operations and asset management roles. He most recently served as Senior Vice President, Strategic Analytics and Research with Houston-based real estate management firm Asset Living, steering growth strategy and vision, driving performance improvement, and enhancing operations. His expertise includes managing high-value real estate portfolios, due diligence, and complex mergers and acquisitions.

His ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives to boost competitive market positioning, coupled with his experience building high-performing teams and processes, will contribute toward elevating Yugo’s operational capabilities. He also brings strong industry relationships alongside his track record in national markets that will support Yugo’s growth strategy.
