    Getting to your lectures and seminars will be a doddle, because we’re just a 10-minute stroll or so from Cardiff University and the University of South Wales, and a short bus ride from Cardiff Metropolitan University.

    The busy Queen Street and St David’s Centre are just a stone’s throw away for access to the shops, restaurants and bars of Cardiff city.

Our Spaces

If you're looking for student accommodation in Cardiff city centre, Arofan House is the place to be. With events all year round and common areas to help you socialise, you'll be able to make friends for life. We have sociable en suite flats if you'd like to live with a group of like-minded students, or studios if you'd prefer a quieter option. Either way, you’ll get a much more luxurious experience than in standard halls of residence or at some of the other student housing in Cardiff.

Our En Suite rooms come in a range of sizes to suit your budget, but whichever you choose, you’ll enjoy your own private space complete with a double bed and a swanky en suite bathroom. There is also plenty of secure storage. The en suite rooms link onto a communal kitchen/diner area, where you can spend time with your friends or get to know new people in the course of moving in. It’s truly the best of both worlds and the best option for quality student accommodation in Cardiff.

We also have Studio options, ranging in size up to a massive 27m2. These are big enough for two people to live in, so they’re perfect for couples or best friends - dual-occupancy is available as an option. The social spaces at this residence are second to none, with a spacious common room available all day round, plus a TV room with a widescreen television and pool table. Outside, there’s a lovely courtyard, where in the summer months we get together for barbecues and good times. This is much more than your average university halls!

Did we mention the residence is only a 10 to 20-minute stroll from Cardiff University and the University of South Wales? Plus, the Cardiff Metropolitan University is only a short bus ride away and the bus stop is right outside our door.
