Nottingham - Robin Hood Statue

More than the Robin Hood city

He robbed from the rich to give to the poor. Among students, that would certainly make him a legend! And Robin Hood, one of England's most famous outlaws, has certainly earned himself a place in Nottingham's history. But let's not get stuck on the chirpy chap in the green tights. The city is more than its folklore.

There are lots of bars, pubs and clubs to explore, including the student-friendly Ocean, which is the place to be on Wednesday and Friday nights. If you fancy a more chilled night out, the Cornerhouse is a complex hosting a range of restaurants, plus crazy golf and bowling.

As for shopping, you’re totally covered. Head to the Lace Market for independent boutiques, or the Victoria Centre for the more mainstream stuff.

Our student accommodation in Nottingham gives you easy access to a host of attractions, including the castle, museum and art gallery, with the famous Robin Hood statue outside. And don't miss the Arboretum, a 19th-century park and gardens with hundreds of trees.
