Depot Point Residence is based slap bang in Zone 1, at the very heart of London and close to University College London, University of Westminster, University of the Arts London and many more. It’s just a short walk from the majestic King’s Cross station so you can get across the whole of London with ease. But best of all, this area has so much on its doorstep, you’ll never get bored of new places to visit and new things to do.

Art, Food & Shopping All In One Place

The nearby Coal Drops Yard is the very best of several post-industrial spaces in the area that have been turned into must-visit shopping and food destinations. Everything you could possibly want is here, from fine dining to cutting edge art exhibitions and installations provided by Central Saint Martin’s College of Art. Vermuteria specialises in European restaurant classics and the flavour-packed fortified wine Vermouth, both of which can be enjoyed in an stunning outdoor setting.

Also in The Yard you’ll find Casa Pastor, and its outdoor sister Plaza Castor, which serve up delicious homely Mexican food such as tacos and burritos, not to mention lashings of mezcal tequila when you feel like letting loose with friends. Hicce is one of London’s most acclaimed restaurants, serving up British food inspired by Japanese and Norwegian cuisine, plus a glorious range of handcrafted cocktails. Coal Drop’s Yard is also home to countless shopping outlets, ranging from top fashion brands to independent boutiques and small traders. For a day of shopping, eating and drinking, nowhere else compares.

Stunning Areas to Unwind

The Lighterman is another enormous and highly-rated eating and drinking establishment, set across three floors and outdoors, and one of the area’s best spaces to relax in the evening.

If you’re looking for outdoor spaces to jog, hang out with friends or enjoy nature, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Camley Street Natural Park is a two-acre haven, widely known as the jewel of King’s Cross where humans and wildlife coexist on the banks of the canal. The London Wildlife Trust have worked hard to make this a beautiful environment for birds, bats, butterflies and, of course, all you two-legged visitors. Meanwhile, Laurie Olin’s Lewis Cubitt Square features the architect’s signature fountains, which are a great draw in summer - there’s hours of fun to be had among the arcing jets of water. There are also car boot sales, markets and free musical and cultural events to check out.
