Your monthly payment includes the rent and the flat rate for utilities. This flat rate includes your share of the general expenses of the building (including maintenance of common areas) as well as any expenses related to your apartment (water, communal heatinc, etc.).

Heating is included in the flat rate for utilities, except at the following student residences: Bordeaux Pellegrin, Lille Euralille, Paris Bagnolet, Pessac Université, Talence Centre and Talence Université.

Electricity is included for shared apartments. For all other types of apartment it is not included, except at the following residences: Paris La Défense, Paris Grande Arche and Marseille La Major. After signing your lease, we’d suggest that you register with an electricity supplier. Your YouFirst Manager will provide you with the necessary information when you’re ready to do so.

Yes, when there are still student rooms available. Please specify your request by providing the person’s contact details in the “specific request” field when submitting your respective booking forms.

Our student apartments are fully furnished. In the sleeping area: bed, mattress, pillow, blanket, draw sheet and bedside table. In the study area: desk with storage and ergonomic chair. In the kitchen area: fridge-freezer, microwave oven, cooking plate, storage units. One Tableware/kitchenware set per person: dinner plates, dessert plates, glasses, mugs, knives, forks, small and large spoons, a paring knife, a frying pan, a saucepan, a casserole dish, an oven dish, a salad bowl, a can opener, a bottle opener and a colander. In the shower room: shower, vanity unit, mirror. Toilet. You will also get a broom, bucket & mop. 

For legal reasons, our leases are for terms of between 9 and 12 months. You are free to leave your accommodation for student and young professionals at any time, subject to a notice period of one month.
