What is Yugo Flagstaff Central?

Yugo Flagstaff Central is an apartment community designed with Northern Arizona University students in mind. The property includes amenities such as a coffee bar, study area, gym, hot tub, and rooftop. This newly built community is located right behind NAU Cline Library.

Yugo Flagstaff Central is privately owned and managed by Yugo, a global company.

Can I live with friends, or can you match me with roommates?

Residents can select their own roommates or apply on their own and our team will match you with other students. Applicants answer a short list of roommate matching questions to help in the matching process.

Do my roommates and I all sign the same lease?

Instead of requiring all roommates to sign a joint lease, each person signs a separate lease for their individual bed spaces. This releases all roommates from liability for others. You are only responsible for paying rent on your bedspace.

What is included in the rent?

Each resident at Yugo Flagstaff Central pays a flat rate that includes: bedroom and living room furniture, wall mounted smart TV, high-speed Internet, water/sewer/trash removal, and access to community amenities.

What size are the apartments at Yugo Flagstaff Central?

The apartments at Yugo Flagstaff Central range from studios to 5-bedroom apartments. Each bedroom includes a private bathroom.

Are the apartments furnished?

All apartments at Yugo Flagstaff Central have a furniture package that includes a full size bed, under-bed dresser, desk and chair in each bedroom, plus a couch, coffee table, entertainment stand, and LG Smart TV mounted in the living room. The kitchen includes barstools if applicable and stainless steel appliances. A stackable washer dyer is also included in the units.

When do the lease agreements start and end?

The move in date is August 17th, 2023 and the move out date is July 31st, 2024 with payments made in 12 equal installments. If you are looking for immediate availability please contact the office.

Is a co-signer or financial guaranty required?

All residents are required to provide a qualifying guarantor, pay 1st months rent and deposit. Residents can also self-qualify by providing proof of income 2.5x the monthly rental amount and passing a credit check.

Can I pay by credit card?

Residents can pay online 24 hours per day, by credit card or ACH electronic checking. Yugo Flagstaff Central also accepts all major credit and debit cards through the resident portal, subject to a convenience fee. Automatic payment is also available.

Will my financial aid cover charges at Yugo Flagstaff Central?

Your rent at Yugo Flagstaff Central can be covered by financial aid, just like on-campus housing. Generally, after university charges are paid, any remaining funds are released to the student for non-institutional expenses, such as off-campus housing. Normal payment deadlines apply.

Is Yugo Flagstaff Central open to non-students?

Our space is designed with students in mind, however Yugo Flagstaff Central is an Equal Opportunity housing provider and welcomes applications from non-students. Apartments are subject to city and state occupancy limits.

What kind of safety and security is provided?

Yugo Flagstaff Central provides electronic access to apartments and individually locking bedroom doors. All apartment doors lock behind you when closed. The building is also outfitted with a state-of-the-art camera system and fob-entry on all doors and elevators in order to access controlled resident spaces. A courtesy patrol is provided, as well as 24-hour emergency maintenance.

What are the policies on pets, smoking and guests?

Yugo Flagstaff Central is a pet-friendly community. Pets are subject to management approval and incur deposit and monthly pet rent. Our community is smoke-free in all indoor areas and outdoor amenities. Overnight guests are welcome, with limits on number of days.

Can I park my vehicle at Yugo Flagstaff Central?

Yugo Flagstaff Central has covered garage parking available on a first-come first serve basis for $85 additionally per month.

What other transportation options will I have?

There is a campus bus stop located within walking distance from the building. Other options around Flagstaff include the Mountain Line, rideshare services such as Uber/Lyft, and bicycle. Yugo Flagstaff Central includes free secure bicycle storage in the parking garage.
