The Spanish Yugo family has a new addition!

The aptly named Cartuja is on the Cartuja university campus, near Seville's city centre and we're now taking bookings for 2023/4.

So what's in it for you?

Let’s start with the 232 fully furnished bedrooms. There are different types for different tastes and budgets but they've all got kitchen facilities. So if you don't want to take advantage of our meal service, you can fix yourself a snack while you contemplate your next Spanish adventure...

We like sharing. In fact our communal spaces are part of what makes our Yugo spaces so very, very good.

Here at Cartuja we've got dedicated study rooms. For less peace and more socialising, there's a terrace that's perfect for that. Or spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon with friends in our cinema, or flexing your competitive side in the games room.

Speaking of flexing, there's an on-site gym too, or get some fresh air down by the pool. It's also perfect for lounging beside during our hot Spanish summers.

Ok, time to focus on the less interesting side of adulting: the chores!

Washing your clothes might be new territory for you now that you’ve flown the nest, but the Cartuja launderette has enough washing machines for the entire building. Who knows, some time spent there could be the start of some beautiful friendships!

You don't have to worry about cleaning. We'll do that for you, every week. And it's included in the price. If that’s not good news, we don’t know what is!

We also give you plenty of back-up too. We've got a great reception team as well as round-the-clock security. That way you can feel 100% at home with people to talk to if you're worried about anything.

Regrets? Not a chance! Seville is one of the best places in the world to be a student.

There are bars and restaurants for those essential Spanish tapas or drinks with friends, and next to the river you’ll find the beautiful Triana neighbourhood, the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo (a modern art gallery on the site of an old Cistercian monastery), and many, many nightclubs.

Crossing the Guadalquivir River on one of the city's ten bridges, you’ll soon be in the city centre with all its gorgeous architecture and amazing atmosphere. Combine that with an impressive student community and the possibilities are endless!

To make your life easier, Seville boasts a magnificent public transport system. If you fancy a weekend trip or an escape to the beach in summer, there are two bus stations, one of which is right next to Cartuja. There’s also a train station and an airport not too far away.
