Booking with us

We understand that deciding where to live and committing yourself to spend quite a bit of money is a big decision.

This website is designed to show you as much information about our accommodation as possible. You’ll be able to find high-quality photographs and videos and lots of other stuff you need to know. Once you’ve decided to live with us, we aim to make the booking as hassle-free as we can with our booking system.

If possible, we recommend you come and visit us before you book. We’ll make sure a member of the Yugo team will be available to give you a tour and answer any questions you have.

If you'd like to book a room with us, you'll be able to do it online in less than 10 minutes. What you'll need:

Parents

At Yugo, we are aware of the responsibility we have towards all students living in our accommodation, as well as to their parents and guardians. We recognize that, for many of our residents, this will be their first time living away from home, and that, as parents, you will want to be involved in the process of choosing your child’s first independent accommodation.

Our promise is to provide all the information you require in order for you to feel as much at ease as possible. We are dedicated to making your child’s student experience a comfortable and happy one in an environment where they can feel safe and secure – and somewhere you will feel content to leave them.

Creating Comfortable Student Accommodation

Since opening our first student accommodation in 2011, Yugo has been managing purpose-built student accommodation in both the UK and Europe, bringing a high level of service to the student community. We take pride in our continued and efficient delivery of quality security, and attention to detail that allows our residents to relax and concentrate on their studies during their time with us.

All of our student accommodation is furnished to a high and premium standard. Regardless of whether your child chooses a studio or a shared residence, we aim to provide a pleasant living environment with plenty of space to study and relax. The majority of our accommodation includes a common area for our residents to enjoy some time together, and, for those odd moments when the sunshine bursts through the clouds, our students can relax in the outdoor courtyard.

Bills, Security, & Fire Safety

We strive to create an easy experience that helps put parents’ minds at ease while their child is living away from home. In order to make sure this happens, we take care of several aspects of the renting process by including all bills and internet in our weekly package, as well as offering an onsite maintenance team. If things should go wrong within your child’s accommodation, we will be on hand to fix any problem quickly and cheerfully. We will also happily take delivery of any parcels at our reception desk.

Security is high on our list of priorities at Yugo in our efforts to provide the best and most thorough service possible. That is why each of our student residences includes 24 hours CCTV, and all of our flats, studios and individual rooms are protected by fob lock entry.

Guarantor

What is Housing Hand?

Housing Hand is a third-party Guarantor service that assists both UK and International Students with the cost of accommodation in their city of study. This means students can move into their accommodation immediately without the need to pay all of their rent up-front.

Am I eligible for Housing Hand?

All students are eligible to apply for Housing Hand.

How much does the service cost me?

Absolutely nothing.
Normally, Housing Hand would charge an additional 50 euro per month for students using the service. However, we at Yugo understand that every euro counts when you are studying, and so to help make things as affordable as possible, we have agreed to absorb the fee Housing Hand charges, so you the student pay less. Huzzah!

How long does it take to get approved?

Applying for Housing Hand only takes a few minutes online.  You will need to upload the necessary documentation and go through their application process which could be completed in the same day.
Housing Hand accepts 99% of applicants that provide the requested information and documents.

What do I need to apply?

Proof of Study – correspondence from a University, UCAS or a student ID.
Official ID – passport.
Co-Signer Details – this person must not be an existing Housing Hand customer.
Co-Signer Documentation:
Photographic ID (Passport, driver’s licence or national identification card)
Proof of residential address (utility bill or bank statement showing name and address and dated within the last 3 months).

What is a Co-signer?

A Co-signer can be a parent / family member or friend that can be contacted in the event Housing Hand cannot reach you. Co-signers must be working and over the age of 18.  They are jointly liable for repaying Housing Hand should you default on your rent.

Who Do I Pay?

You continue to pay us directly as agreed in your contract. Payments do not go through Housing Hand, they simply act as your guarantor.
