Lope de Vega is just 100 metres from the central university library, and it's been completely refurbished. Historically military quarters, it’s now one of the most impressive student accommodation buildings in the world!

When it comes to rooms, one style isn't going to work for everyone. How much do you want to spend? Do you want privacy or would you prefer a shared experience? The choice is yours and we'll do our very best to accommodate it.

We've got single rooms, and doubles, along with attic rooms for a slightly different flavour. They're all fully furnished and some have got private kitchens too. But wherever you end up living, super-fast wifi is part of the deal. You'll also have air con and central heating which you can control to keep your space just the way you like it.

Here at Lope de Vega, we do the cleaning (once a week) so you don’t have to. We also provide a great maintenance service, so if you've got a problem with anything in your room, just mention it to our reception team and if it's an emergency, we'll get it sorted, any time, day or night.

Funds a bit low for eating out? Not a problem! There's a full-board meal service available and sitting down with your fellow Yugoers to share a meal in our dining room is good for the social life too.

When exams are looming, our communal study areas will see you right. There's also a games room, great for stirring up some healthy competition when you want a break from the books.

If staying in shape is your thing, you can work up a sweat in the Lope de Vega gym. Prefer to slow it down? There are hangout zones dedicated to deep chilling. And when the summer hots up, our gardens and patio are perfect spaces for working on your tan.

There's heaps of potential to go exploring here too. Grab your bike from our bike store and go for a spin or get to know Madrid like a local. It's just 20 minutes away by car and you'll find an endless round of culture, history, bars, restaurants and clubs to keep you entertained.
