How do you study best when revising for exams? Can you knuckle down for hours on end with your trusty Mars bars and Lucozade at your side? Or do you need plenty of breaks, fresh air and clean living? We all have different methods of studying, we suss out what works best for us early on and tend to stick with it throughout our academic careers. There are three types of learners: visual, auditory and kinaesthetic. By determining what type of learner you are, you can improve the productivity of your revision sessions and ensure that you are studying in a manner that is best suited to you. The Student Housing Company team have asked over 800 students in the UK about their studying habits to discover just what it is that makes their brains work at their best during revision periods, and correlated the results into a bright and beautiful infographic for your perusal. You can even use our flowchart to find out what type of learner you are.
